Sai Sourabh Madur is a highly skilled and experienced software engineer currently working as a Member of Technical Staff at Oracle Cloud. With over 6 years of relevant experience, Sai has a strong background in computer vision, infrastructure, and research science. Prior to his current role, Sai worked as a Research Assistant in Computer Vision at Columbia University in the City of New York. Here, he collaborated with the Graduate School of Journalism and developed and implemented object detection algorithms for identifying radical symbols in protests. Sai also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Columbia University, where he TA’ed for courses such as Deep Learning for Computer Vision, Reinforcement Learning, and Introductory Quantum Mechanics. His responsibilities included grading homework/exams/projects and advising students on course assignments through office hours and online resources. Sai holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Columbia University in the City of New York, and a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
